Educational Qualifications

The following requirements must be met by candidates who have graduated from an accredited university or institution:

Engineer (Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical):

  • Graduate degree in chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering with first class honors.
  • 60% minimum (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD students).

(Official Language) Assistant Officer:

  • Hindi Master’s Degree with English as a Completion Subject.
  • A diploma in translation or three months of translation training are preferred.

HR officer:

  • An MBA in human resources, personnel management, industrial relations, or another postgraduate degree or diploma.
  • grades of at least 60% (or 55% for SC candidates).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in HR-related positions.

Age Limit

The age limit as of January 1, 2025

  • Maximum 26 years as a chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineer
  • Maximum age for an HR officer and an assistant officer (official language): 28 years

In accordance with government regulations, age relaxation is applicable.

  • SC/ST: five-year rest
  • OBC: three years of rest (Non-Creamy Layer)
  • 10 years for GEN, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST PwBD

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

Online Exam (Written Test)

A total of 120 inquiries
Two hours in length
For every incorrect response, 0.25 marks are subtracted from the final score.

Pattern for Question Papers:

All-around Ability (50 Questions) Reasoning, GK, English, and Numerical Ability
Seventy questions that are technical Topic-related inquiries

The bare minimum of qualifying scores

General/EWS/OBC – 40%
SC/ST/PwBD – 35%

Individual Interview
  • Those who made the written test short list will be contacted for an interview.
  • Weight of Selection: 15% for the interview and 85% for the written exam
  • Performance in both phases is used to create the final merit list.

Salary & Pay Scale
